TIGHTEN UP!
Family, I am grateful beyond words for all of the tight friendships, artists’ inspirations and connections we make at Art, Music & Yoga Festivals - those microcosms that create an alternate way of being that can become The Path.
People sometimes ask me (skeptically) ….. “um, do you you sell your work here?” and we’ll look around at the large-scale paintings and I reply “I do. It all sells quickly and I do not have a warehouse of completed pieces. It’s beautiful when art finds it’s permanent home. I am blessed. It’s an unusual and raw reveal of my internal world when I show paintings at a festival. There’s more of an exchange than a sale, because when art is involved, souls are involved. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and humbled by these interactions and connections and extensions of family that stretch out and out and…! I am excited by the variety of people who attend festivals and give their time and energy to let go for 5-days, to transform, and to become the butterflies that they are!I’m blessed by those I’ve met along this path. We each impact each other in positive ways. I couldn’t resist sharing some of the smiling faces and the magical spaces with you.
Thanks for joining us on this journey. There’s more to come…. exciting domes and new structures for exhibition, peaceful sacred spaces to sit and view art, more-bizarre entertainment surprises at our booth, more diversity in our offerings for sale …. more merch on our website, classes on video shot in wild locations, a new book, more festival portraits and workshops in the paint……I’m dizzy!! Do you feel how excited I am? I’m blessed with caring assistants on the East Coast. And looking for helpers on the West Coast.Thank you! Let’s take care of each other. Bodies, Souls, Hearts in alignment. Feet ready to move and dance. It is in movement, my friends, we find our balance.
